For the first round, the cars are in their sportiest settings with AC off. On the count of three, the drivers press the accelerators. Things were head-to-head for the initial few seconds. But the Nexon took an unassailable lead and won the round. For the second round, the AC of the Nexon was switched on. As a result, Jimny took the second and third rounds. They did 6 rounds. With the Nexon’s AC on, the Jimny won every round. Otherwise, the Nexon was able to beat the lightweight off-roader.

Specs Comparison
The Jimny runs on just one type of engine, a 1.5-litre petrol engine. This engine generates a respectable 103 hp and 134 Nm of peak power and torque. You can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission for the vehicle. Being an off-roader, the 4×4 configuration comes as standard. On the other hand, the Nexon in this race has a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. It generates a healthy 118 hp and 170 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Hence, the Nexon has a slight edge in terms of power and torque but it is also the heavier of the two.
