It is a well-known fact that the compact and mid-size SUV segments are growing at a rapid pace in our market and almost all the major players have marked their presence in this segment. Here is a list of the top 7 compact SUVs in India for the month of June 2021 according to the sales report.

Tata Nexon vs Rivas – July 2021 Sales Numbers
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza – 12,833 Units
The largest carmaker in the country sold 12,833 units of its popular Vitara Brezza in June 2021 compared to about 4,500 units in the same month last year. The updated Brezza is about to be launched in India and might feature the 1.5-litre in-house diesel engine again.

Tata Nexon – 8,033 Units
Tata Nexon is gaining a ton of customers rapidly and becoming extremely popular and even overtook Hyundai Venue in June 2021. It sold 8,033 units last month compared to around 3,000 units in June 2020. The Dark Edition of the Nexon is about to launch soon.
Kia Sonet – 5,963 Units
The Sonet has taken the Indian automobile industry by storm ever since its launch last year. Already a popular compact SUV, Kia sold 5,963 units of the Sonet in June 2021. It has not been one complete year since the launch and it is already posing some healthy figures consistently.

Hyundai Venue – 4,865 Units
Surprisingly, the Hyundai Venue has slipped to the fourth spot on the list with a mere 4,865 units sold in June 2021. As a matter of fact, it sold almost the same units in June last year even during the pandemic and partial lockdown phase.
Mahindra XUV300 – 4,615 Units
The 5-star safety-rated Mahindra XUV300 managed to sell 4,615 units in our market in the month of June this year. In comparison, it sold around 1,800 units in the same month last year. The more powerful direction injection turbo petrol Sportz variant is also about to launch in India soon.

Ford EcoSport – 3,511 Units
Ford EcoSport has also shown some decent sales figures in June this year with 3,511 units being sold compared to around 1,200 units in June last year. This could be due to the new SE variant launched earlier. Also, the facelift version of the EcoSport will also be launched in India soon.
Nissan Magnite – 3,252 Units
The most affordable compact SUV in the country continues with consistently great sales figures month-on-month ever since its launch last year. In June 2021, Nissan sold 3,252 units of the Magnite.
