The first electric car on this list is the Tigor EV. It has found quite a few buyers in the market on account of being among the most affordable electric cars in the country. Nexon EV
The most popular electric car in the country is the Nexon EV. Tata Motors offers it in two variants with different battery sizes – Prime and MAX. The Prime has benefits of upto Rs 56,000, while the MAX comes with Rs 61,000 discounts. The Prime variant is equipped with a 30.2 kWh Li-ion battery pack that grants a range of 312 km. It incorporates a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that delivers a peak power of 127 hp and a torque of 245 Nm. It costs between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 17.19 lakh, ex-showroom.

In contrast, the Nexon EV MAX model employs a larger 40.5 kWh Li-ion battery to drive the same motor, resulting in a peak power output of 141 hp and torque of 250 Nm. With the expanded battery capacity, the Nexon EV Max achieves an impressive range of 453 km on a single charge. Additionally, it showcases a remarkable acceleration capability, completing the 0-100 km/h sprint in a mere 9 seconds.
