The images are quite detailed and show the conditions of both the SUVs. The post has been shared by a certain Debanshu Sengupta on the Tata Nexon Owners page on Facebook. He mentions that the collision was massive. However, everyone escaped unbruised which is quite impressive in a crash of this magnitude. There is substantial damage to both the SUVs as the front areas of the SUVs are almost completely damaged. By the looks of it, the collision must have been a head-on one at high speed. The owner also mentions that there are only some chest pains due to the deployment of airbags and seatbelt restraints. That was also the reason why no serious injuries were sustained by anyone. The details of the occupants of the Creta are not known.

The relevance of safety equipment in modern cars can’t be stressed upon enough. India is unfortunately home to thousands of road accidents every year. Thousands of people lose their lives on roads. More importantly, a lot of these lives could be saved just by having some basic safety kit in the car. That is also the reason why the government is making many safety equipment obligatory in every new car. We hope that more carmakers will start offering additional safety features across all the variants in their lineups. Also, as time passes by, the government should make more safety features necessary in cars. This will surely prevent many lives from being lost on roads due to accidents.
