Tata Nexon SUV is now available with Apple Car Play in its touchscreen Infotainment system. Earlier, its infotainment system only came with Android Auto. The older models can get the software updates for free at Tata Dealerships. The prices of Nexon start from Rs 6.15 Lakhs up to Rs 10.59 Lakhs.
Tata Nexon SUV was launched with a floating 6.5-inch dash-top touchscreen infotainment system. However, unlike the other systems, it came only with Android Auto. Earlier, the Nexon did not have Apple Car Play. Now, the compact SUV gets Apple Car Play installed in the system. The new models will get both the facilities as standard, the older models will get a new software update at their nearest Tata dealerships. The update will take up to 30 minutes to install and will be done for free. Apple Car Play can be used for calling, reading, listening, dictating and writing messages, playing music through Bluetooth, and other apps like Podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, Audiobooks, Vox, Clammer and Google Play Music.

It can also be paired with Siri and you can talk to it like you do with your normal iPhone or iPad. Most of the cars require your iPhone or iPad to be connected via a USB cable. There are a few cars that support wireless Apple Car Play. Also, a lot of aftermarket infotainment systems support Apple Car Play.
Tata Nexon SUV recently got a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test. It got 4-stars for the safety of adult occupants and 3-star for the safety of child occupants. Nexon is one of the most popular cars in its compact SUV segment, with Vitara Brezza and EcoSport rivalling it. It has also helped Tata in achieving a growth of around 14% in domestic sales in July 2018.

Tata Nexon SUV gets a 1.2 Litre Revotron petrol and 1.5 Litre Revotorq diesel engines. The turbo-petrol engine churns out 110 BHP of power and 170 Nm of torque. The turbo-diesel churns out 110 BHP of power and 260 Nm of torque. The car is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission along with an optional 6-speed AMT.
Features of the Nexon include Projector Headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED DRLs, MultiDrive Modes (Eco, City, and Sport), Smart Key, Push Button Start, Wearable Key, and Steering mounted audio controls. Also, it gets the Manual Tiptronic Mode with Creep Function for AMT variants. Creep Function puts the car in minimum acceleration without keeping the foot on the accelerator. It is a very useful feature for the stop and go traffic.

For safety, it gets features such as Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD, Reverse Parking sensors with camera and ISOFIX. The prices of Nexon start from Rs 6.15 Lakhs and go up to Rs 10.59 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
