Tata Nexon proves yet again why it wears the tag of the first Made in India vehicle to score 5-star safety ratings at the GNCAP. Safety depends largely on the build quality and equipment in a car.
These images of a Tata Nexon sandwiched between two heavy vehicles could be a bit harrowing to watch. But knowing that it is a Nexon will instantly make you feel a bit confident about the whole incident. If there is a car one would be willing to bet to keep the occupants safe, it has to be the Tata Nexon. The compact SUV has been ever-more popular among modern customers due to its safety attributes which is also reflected in its sales numbers month after month. Let us check out the details of this unfortunate incident.

The images have been shared via Facebook. The post also explains the details of this incident. According to the post, the truck in front of the Nexon applied brakes suddenly. The driver of the compact SUV was not able to react quickly enough and went on to hit the back of the truck. In addition to this, the bus behind the Nexon also was not able to brake timely and it collided with the Nexon as well. As is clear from the images, the impact was quite severe. Nexon has sustained quite noticeable damage from all sides. However, the driver, who was the only one in the car, managed to escape unhurt simply due to the build quality of the vehicle.
However, the airbags of the car didn’t open for some reason. It is quite interesting and a bit scary to know that no airbags were deployed. That could turn out to be the difference between life and death in many instances. While everyone knows that the body of the Nexon is quite strong and rugged to survive even major accidents, the airbags are necessary for the safety of the passengers. Nevertheless, this time around, the driver was lucky and the Tata Nexon saved his life despite being sandwiched between two heavy vehicles.
