Mid-September Launch
September 14th is when Tata Motors will introduce the 2023 Tata Nexon. While this isn’t a complete generational shift, the second facelift of the Nexon promises substantial enhancements that have stirred excitement among car enthusiasts. Recent sightings have provided a sneak peek at the front and rear sections of this revamped model. Another picture even confirms the arrival of the first batch at dealerships.. With all such developments underway, it’s safe to assume that test drives will commence shortly.
CURVV-Inspired Exterior: A Visual Transformation
Tata Motors has elevated the Nexon’s premium appeal by seamlessly blending contemporary styling elements from the CURVV concept with the design that made its debut at Auto Expo 2014. These integrated details refine the vehicle’s overall aesthetics. Upfront, the fascia boasts a completely redesigned lighting setup, featuring hood-level Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and lower-positioned main beams. The bumper exudes a sportier look with enhanced contours. While the side profile remains largely true to its predecessor, it gets fresh alloy wheels. The rear-end bids farewell to the previous Y-shaped LED tail lamps in favor of sleeker interconnected LED units, united by a stylish light bar.

Posh Interior for New Tata Nexon Facelift
A look inside the Nexon’s cabin reveals a host of enhancements. A central 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display takes the spotlight, akin to the one available on the the Nexon EV Max. New air conditioning vents and a completely redesigned central console breathe fresh life into the dashboard. The conventional aircon controls have made way for a touch-sensitive unit. The gear selector is also new. However, the pièce de résistance lies in the new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated log and the the fully digital instrument cluster flanking it.

2023 Tata Nexon Specs
Below the hood, the 2023 Tata Nexon gets an all-new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. It pumps out a higher output of 121 PS and 225 Nm . This is a significant improvement over 120 PS and 170 Nm from outgoing motor. The diesel engine has been carried over. In fact, even the transmission options have been retained. That said, there is a DCT option for the new petrol mill. The Nexon will continue to rival Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300.
