Tata Nexon Facelift Steering Wheel
This video clip comes from Niranhangope on YouTube. It captures the latest spotting of the heavily camouflaged Tata Nexon. Interestingly, one gets a glimpse of the interior via this video. There is a clear two-spoke steering wheel. This must be inspired by the CURVV concept EV that Tata Motors showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. Essentially, it could house an illuminated Tata logo along with tons of information. However, there is no official data to reveal what exactly it will display. Since there is a screen on the steering, we expect it to show navigation and other driving-related information.

First Digital Steering on Mass Market Car
While carmakers keep conducting various experiments in their concept cars, we have never seen a digital steering wheel on a mass-market car ever. It could be a great feature to attract tech-savvy buyers. But it could also be slightly distracting for the drivers. Today, the drivers analyse information from the instrument cluster. We are used to looking there. However, having to look at the steering wheel might take some getting used to. Hence, it is entirely possible that it could be a distraction that could rob the driver of his attention on the road. Therefore, we will have to experience it in real life to know how it feels. Also, since the Nexon is an old car and a generational update is long overdue, this might be Tata’s attempt to conceal its age.

Specs
The upcoming Nexon facelift could introduce a brand-new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine might offer a strong 125 PS of power and a maximum torque of 225 Nm. People buying the car will be able to pick between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, so they can choose what suits them best. Alongside the turbo-petrol choice, Tata Motors will also keep the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, which gives out 110 PS of power and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. For more convenient driving, the diesel engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). This variety of engine options is designed to offer customers a wide range of driving experiences and cater to different preferences.
