Range anxiety is a fairly common concern of all electric vehicle users. Unfortunately, for some such EV-users, their worst nightmare comes true when the battery pack of the vehicle runs out of juice. Soon after the video went viral, Ather Energy showed its playful side by retweeting the video along with a caption that read: “We’ve got your back, Tata.ev.” This friendly encounter between two EVs is a testament to the supportive EV community. Though amusing, we hope the Ather didn’t run out of battery during the helpful tow. Also, while EV range anxiety is a concern, most modern EVs offer sufficient range for city and highway driving. In related news, Ather is expanding to Nepal, making the 450X available in Kathmandu and setting up Ather Grid Fast Chargers across the country in partnership with Vaidya Energy.
Also, the Tata Nexon EV received its mid-cycle facelift this week. The 2023 Nexon EV facelift is available at a starting price of Rs 14.74 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The updated electric SUV is now on sale in three variants: Creative, Fearless, and Empowered. Moreover, buyers can choose from two battery pack options: Mid range and Long range. It’s available in seven color choices: Intensi-teal, Creative Ocean, Pristine White, Fearless Purple, Daytona Grey, Empowered Oxide, and Flame Red. Customers can reserve their new Nexon EV facelift with a booking amount of Rs 21,000.
