In a major accident, an overspeeding Tata Nexon went seven feet in the air. The whole incident was captured on video.
Over the last few years, Tata Motors has improved safety standards in Indian cars. It is one of the few companies to have three vehicles with a 5-star safety rating. Even entry-level cars have received good safety ratings. Now, a major accident of the Tata Nexon put the safety ratings of the SUV to test. The results of the crash show the build quality of Tata Nexon as it kept all passengers safe. Nikhil Rana has shared the details of the serious accident on his YouTube channel to raise awareness of safety standards in modern vehicles. Let’s take a closer look.
As you can see in the video, an overspeeding Tata Nexon went out of control. This incident occurred near Greater Noida. During a turn, the driver of Tata Nexon tried to avoid a collision with an auto-rickshaw. However, since the SUV was at high speed, it went across the road and into the air. Despite such a serious accident, the Tata Nexon received very minor damage. It also managed to keep all four passengers safe. The miraculous outcome displays the importance of safe cars and safety ratings/ standards. The Tata car had an intact cabin, the airbags were opened, and the roof pillar are intact.

Thousands of people lose their lives in avoidable accidents every year. The quality of Indian roads varies from place to place. Also, since random objects might appear out of nowhere (animals, kids, potholes, etc) it is important to be mindful while driving. Fortunately, now you can invest in a safe car (with good build quality and safety equipment). The increased sales of Tata cars are likely to encourage other manufacturers to build safer cars as well. Still, follow the traffic rules and report anyone driving recklessly to the authorities. Over-speeding is a clear no-no.
