Tata Nano , world’s cheapest car by Tata Motors has been in various troubles related to the implementation of its production plans especially after the decision to move its operation from Singur to Sanand Plant. After the recent inauguration of Tata Motor’s Sanand Plant for Tata Nano, the production has started in full swing.
As per Manoj Arora, Senior Manager at Tata Motors “From this August or September, customers will be able to walk into our showroom and drive out in a Nano”. This means a great deal of increase in sales of Tata Nano for the customers who were not able to get an instant deliver of the car and had to wait.
This statement from Tata Motors will mean that the competition in the small car sector is going to intensify in volumes now. Also some of the two-wheeler customers will also be converted to Nano customers because of the price points. Lets wait and watch, the easy availability will depend a great deal on the demand & production balance for Tata Nano in the coming months.
