Tata Motors India launched a unique initiative called the Tata Nano Art In Motion on 12 September 2012 for Tata Nano fans wherein popular artists will paint Tata Nano cars with special art themes. The first car will be painted by popular artist Ms. Sangeeta Babani from September 14th to 16th 2012 at the Palladium Courtyard of the High Street Phoenix, Mumbai, India.
This is a one of its kind initiative in India where artists will paint some cars. First car will be painted in celebration theme and it will tour Mumbai city during the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi which is celebrated with lots of devotion and celebration across Maharashtra. The festival theme Nano will make rounds of the pandals as well as it will orphanage homes and children’s schools to spread happiness.
Along with the Art in motion campaign, Tata Motors will also run a Catch the Art Nano competition wherein fans can spot the art painted Nano and share its pictures on the FB Fan page of Nano. Fans with best photo will be selected for special visit by the car.
