Tata Motors has today launched an all-new top-of-the-line variant for its compact hatchback Tiago in the Indian market. The newly introduced XZ plus variant comes with several additional features over the now second-to-top XZ trim.
The Tata Tiago XZ plus variant will get new projector headlamps which feature black bezels. In addition to this, it will feature electric ORVMs with welcome function and an automatic climate control module with fully digital controls.
Furthermore, the Tiago XZ plus will get an all-new 7-inch touchscreen multimedia system. It supports Android Auto and voice commands. In addition to this, this new variant also comes with two new colour options and dual-tone colour schemes as well.

The Tata Tiago XZ Plus trim continues to come with the same engine specifications. It gets a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder engine from Tata Motor’s Revotron series. It churns our 83 BHP of power along with 114 Nm of peak torque.
The diesel variant gets the same 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder engine from the automaker’s Revotorq range. This engine is capable of churning out 68 BHP of power along with 140 Nm of peak torque.
Both these engines come as standard with the 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine, however, is available with the choice of a 5-speed AMT unit as well. The new XZ plus trim does not get the option of an automatic gearbox. The same is only available on the Xz and XT trims.
The new Tata Tiago XZ plus trim goes on sale in India starting from today onwards. And is available pan India across all Tata Motors dealerships.
Talking about the prices, the petrol derivative of the Tiago XZ plus trim is going to retail at a cost of INR 5.57 lakh for the single tone colour option and INR 5.64 lakh for the dual-tone colour option.
Similarly, for the XZ plus trim for the diesel derivative in single tone colour scheme you have to shell out INR 6.31 lakh. On the other hand, for a dual-tone colour scheme, one has to pay INR 6.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
