Report From Mozambique (country in southeastern country) – Tata Motors, an automobile major from India has plans to build an assembly line for Tata Vehicles in the Mozambique’s Zambezia province. According to the Mozambique’s minister for Industry and Trade, discussions have reached “a very advanced stage” with the business people. Government has taken a former textile factory into consideration for the assembly unit of Tata Vehicles as sufficient levels of water and electricity are available there.
When asked about the timelines for the manufacturing plant, the honorable minister stated that there are stages that project needs to go through before making the assembly plant operational. He also stated that Tata Group has already sent a sample of its Tata Nano model to test its compatible with Mozambique’s roads.
Tata has already started exporting Tata Nano to Sri Lanka and will gradually expand its reach to many more countries around the globe with the popular small car adapted to the rules and norms of the countries where it is to be launched. check out more-
