Tata has rolled two new commercial vehicles for the Indian automobile industry. Tata Ace Zip and Tata Magic Iris are the two new additions to the company’s commercial vehicle portfolio that were revealed in Mumbai yesterday.
The Tata Ace Zip is a vehicle designed for door to door transportation of goods whereas the Magic Iris is a passenger vehicle with enough room to accommodate6-8 persons at a time. Both the vehicles are exactly similar except for the fact that the Iris gets a passenger cabin at the rear while the Ace Zip gets a full length carrier.
On the very occasion Mr. P M Telang, MD (India Operations), Tata Motors, said “Tata Motors has been a pioneer in creating and growing the Small Commercial Vehicles market in India with the Tata Ace and the Tata Magic. With the introduction of the Tata Magic IRIS and the Tata Ace Zip the company will more comprehensively address the burgeoning need of public transportation and goods movement. Tata Magic Iris Passenger Vehicle Specifications In India
As mentioned above the Magic Iris is an iteration of the Zip with a passenger cabin at the rear. The specifications are similar to that Zip with an all steel body with a hard top and double steel sheet doors. Some of the new features include instrument panel, sliding bucket seat, big windshield, side mirrors, glass windows and a gear shifter mounted on the dashboard.
The vehicles is available with a warranty of 1 year or 36,000km. Available colors include Arctic White, Ruby Red, School Yellow and Jet Black.
