Indian roads are perfectly capable of throwing up incredulous visuals and this latest instance is a great example to drive that point home.
In a shocking video, a Tata Harrier driver picks up a Maruti WagonR amidst heavy traffic. Maruti products are known for being lightweight and relatively flimsy, especially entry-level models. That is the reason why most of them don’t have decent safety ratings at Global NCAP. To prove that point further, a video is doing rounds on the internet where a driver of the Tata Harrier simply picked up a wrongly parked WagonR in the middle of the road.

Tata Harrier Driver Picks Up WagonR
This post has been shared by multiwheelss on Instagram. The video starts with a man in the passenger seat of a Tata Harrier making a video of a traffic jam. There is a long queue of vehicles stuck in traffic. However, the driver of the Harrier overtakes all these cars until he comes across a wrongly parked WagonR that is sticking out of the queue and blocking the road. The driver of the Harrier stops and assesses the situation and then gets out. All this while, the passenger, who is also making the video, keeps telling him that there is not enough space for their SUV to pass through.

Moments later, the driver of Harrier simply lifts the WagonR up from its rear fender just above the rear tyre and pushes it back into the queue. It is simply amazing to witness something like this. A single man was able to lift the hatchback up with his bare hands. Needless to say, this won’t go down well with the Maruti Suzuki fanboys. But in this case, the sheer strength of the man has to be appreciated. The WagonR is perfectly aligned with the rest of the vehicles and enough space was liberated for the Harrier to pass through.

We don’t want to conclude anything from this video regarding the build quality of WagonR. However, this shows that the hatchback weighs less which has a positive attribute to it as one gets incredible fuel economy. Combine that with a relatively peppy engine and people end up getting a hero product which is why WagonR has consistently been featuring on the list of the top-selling cars in the country for years now.
