In a latest incident, a Tata Harrier falls from bridge on treacherous terrains of the mighty Himalayas. Harrier is one of the most popular vehicles from Tata Motors in the premium mid-size SUV category. It boasts a full 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP along with its 7-seat sibling, the Safari. Known for being a tough and rugged SUV, we have seen it perform decently in many real-life crashes. For now, let us take a look at the details of this recent crash.
Tata Harrier Falls From Bridge
This video emerges from Raftaar 7811 on YouTube. The YouTuber narrates the incident involving the Tata Harrier. He mentions that he took this information from another popular vlogger who is currently doing a road trip on the Indo-Tibetan road in the Himalayas. Needless to mention, these are some of the most isolated locations in North India. The roads are in a dilapidated condition. In fact, there are hardly any tarmac roads to begin with. Hence, driving is immensely challenging. Amidst all this, they come across this incident.
As per the information in the video, a family was travelling in Tata Harrier including two children. For some reason, the SUV skidded off the surface and ended up falling off the bridge. Thankfully, the bridge was not that high. Hence, the SUV landed on the water body flowing from underneath the tiny bridge. While there has been some damage to the exterior of the Harrier, no one was reportedly injured. That is a testament to the build quality and safety prowess of the SUV. Sure, we can’t draw any conclusions from isolated incidents. But it is great that the Harrier was able to perform well.

I understand that everyone wants to spend vacations in the mountains. However, you must accept the fact that life in the mountains is very challenging and different from cities. This also includes driving skills and roads. Hence, if you are not a trained driver, you must drive extremely cautiously on such terrains. It just takes a split-second for things to go wrong in the hills. Incidents like these should remind you that you must take extra precautions while driving on the twisties our Himalayan regions throw at you.
