Tata Harrier Facelift vs Current Model
- 4×4 Drivetrain – With the aim of rivalling the popular Mahindra XUV700, we might finally see the Harrier with a 4×4 drivetrain. Off-roading enthusiasts certainly would love this feature in an SUV to take on the tough conditions and rugged use.
- Smooth Gearbox – Many owners had complained about the clutch being too heavy. Taking that feedback, we might see the gearbox and clutch get a bit smoother so that the city drive could become easier.

- New Infotainment System – Another complaint that the Harrier owners have is the quality and size of the infotainment system. At the moment, it is a small unit with a sluggish interface. However, with the new Harrier, we might see a 10 or 12-inch touchscreen with a smooth interface and connected car tech functions. This could also incorporate a 360-degree camera.
- Convenience Features – While the bigger Safari gets ventilated seats, the Harrier doesn’t. It is a prominent and useful feature to beat the summer heat in our country. That might also change with the facelift. In addition to that, there could also be the inclusion of an electric tailgate and rear disc brakes.

- New Exterior Styling – As is the case with every facelift, there will be changes to the already bold exterior. We could see redesigned headlamps and sporty elements to accentuate the SUV stance of the Harrier.
- Powertrain – Though Tata has not confirmed anything yet, the rumour mill thinks that the new Harrier could even come powered by a petrol engine to bring down the prices. Also, the XUV700 is offered in both variants. The launch is likely to take place in the first quarter of 2023.
