The Tata Harrier has been around for only about 3 years but has already received a facelift and even an all-black ‘Dark Edition’ model that makes it look totally badass. In fact, thanks to the success of this special version, Tata Motors has even extended this dark treatment to its others cars like Nexon and Altroz. The all-black colour theme is definitely being liked by many and is something that even other carmakers could soon start offering. With a similar thought, SRK Design has created a rendering of an all-black Mahindra XUV 700 that seems to have taken plenty of inspiration from the Tata SUV.

As can be seen in the video we have above, the designer starts with changing the exterior colour shade of the Mahindra XUV 700 from blue to black. Next, he can be seen blacking out the dual-tone alloy wheels. Moving ahead, he goes on to black out the chrome trim on the window line as well as the front grille. After he polishes some of the rough edges, he gives the blacked-out slats of the grille a golden touch. By doing so, it has been ensured that the front-end doesn’t have a boring look.

When put alongside the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, the all-black Mahindra XUV 700 looks a tad bolder, which is simply because the full-black treatment goes better with the more radical front-end styling of the XUV700. It must be noted here that the Harrier left all of us impressed with its new-age design back when we first saw it. However, over the time, we’ve got used to the front-end, especially because even the latest Safari looks almost the same. In such a scenario, the XUV700’s front facade comes across as something that we have never seen before. Its C-shaped LED headlights together with the huge grille give this SUV a very futuristic look, which is, in our opinion, further enhanced by the full-black treatment.
