Though the bookings for the Tata Harrier commenced back in October 2018, the automaker was not able to despatch more than 2,000 units of the same to its dealerships. The reason cited for this was quality issues related to the product. The said issues were quite minor and addressed at the dealer level. Butschek added that there was not wrong with the product, the reason for the delay was that the new product introduction process was put in place to ensure better quality.
