The Tata H5 will also mark the debut of the Impact Design 2.0 design theme. With this, the H5, which is internally known as the Q501 at Tata Motors, will become the first-ever product to showcase the company’s new-age design theme. The company will make suitable alterations to the Discovery Sport platform in order to match the characteristics of the upcoming SUV. Insiders at Tata have hinted that the aluminium bits of the JLR platform will be replaced with steel ones to ensure the SUV remains affordable. The H5 will have an all-independent suspension and will be available in 5 and 7 seater layout.
