Tata CURVV vs Nexon EV – Design Comparison
The most noticeable element in the concept design of the CURVV is the sloping creases to highlight the coupe body type. EVs need to be aerodynamically efficient to maximise range and minimise rolling and drag resistance. CURVV has been designed keeping that in mind. this concept version looks quite modern and elegant. There are no traditional headlamps at the front, but a long and sleek LED strip running the width of the bonnet, being an EV, there is no grille but a sealed section typical to EVs, the lower bumper area is finished in black complementing the blue body colour quite well, the multi-triangular pattern for the fog lamps on the sides of the bumper looks futuristic.
The side profile is dominated by the sloping offline that neatly integrates into the boot completing the coupe shape. The alloy wheels are quite sporty and stylish and the black side body cladding imposes the SUV stance.
On the other hand, the Nexon EV features the familiar design theme of the regular IC engine model that is on sale currently. There is a thick blacked out slab on the grille, sleek headlamps with LED DRLs, a chunky bumper with large fog lamp housing, a blue tri-arrow pattern on the grille below the bumper signifying its green credentials, electric blue inserts around the fog lamps and window wit the EV badge of the side fender. The taillamps are connected by the blue strip too and the boot lid bears the EV moniker. The sporty stance of the Nexon EV has been quite popular among customers.
