A latest case has emerged where the upcoming Tata Curvv EV was spied testing on the public roads. I believe Curvv is a wildly anticipated coupe SUV. It was showcased at multiple car shows, the most frequent one being the Bharat Mobility Expo in February. It was displayed there with a diesel engine. This also confirms that the Curvv will be available with petrol, diesel and electric powertrains. For now, let us take a look at the details of the test mule.

Tata Curvv EV Spied Testing
This post comes from autojournal_india on Instagram. It captures yet another instance of the Tata Curvv EV performing road tests. This time around, it is at a location with a lot of traffic around. As usual, the test mule is wrapped under a thick camouflage. The front section confirms its identity despite the covering. However, things get more apparent once the side profile comes to the fore. It bears the trademark coupe SUV silhouette. That is the true mark of the identity of the vehicle. The alloy wheels are covered. Still, it is bound to have a striking road appearance.
The Curvv has been spotted undergoing road tests with multiple powertrains. This includes electric, as well as internal combustion engines. We think that it will borrow specifications from Nexon. However, the engines could be calibrated slightly differently since they will be larger than the Nexon in dimensions. Additionally, it will get the latest gadgets and gizmos along with top safety amenities. In fact, in one of our earlier spottings, we witnessed it with a Blind Spot Monitoring System.

Author’s Note
I have been writing about the Tata Curvv for a long time now. It is clear that Tata Motors is making progress toward bringing it to the market as soon as possible. Still, extensive testing is mandatory to ensure that the vehicle performs great on all terrains. As the trend of SUVs grows, people love to take their vehicles to occasional off-roading adventures or long highway trips. Hence, SUVs need to be ready to take on all sorts of challenges in addition to being practical urban cars. Let us keep an eye out for more details about the Curvv in times to come.
