Tata Motors Limited, the manufacturer of first Indian four-wheel drive crossover Tata Aria MPV is now all set to launch the lower priced 4X2 version of the Aria. With the ultimate aim to reduce cost, Tata have made some changes to its new variant i.e Aria 4 × 2 which is a front wheel drive variant of Tata Aria. Tata Aria 4X2 will be launches with the only difference is the absence of the “Adapterra” and 4X4 badges on the flanks and the tailgate in the next variant of Tata Aria.
The Tata Aria 4×2 version is supposed to be roughly Rs. 1.5 lakh cheaper than the earlier 4×4 version. Although it is still not open whether Tata will offer the Aria 4X2 in all the three variants (Pleasure, Prestige and Pride) just like the 4×4 version or not but price down indicates they may launch Aria 4X2 only in two base variants, Pleasure and Prestige.
Some of the dealers have already started taking bookings for the new Tata Aria 4X2. You can check your local dealers to get the booking. You can pay the booking amount of Rs. 50,000 for the booking of an Aria 4×2. The official priced of Tata Aria will be announced soon as the production has already started.
