Digital automobile artists have a knack for creating enticing and unfathomable iterations of mass-market cars and this is the latest example of it
A prominent artist has come up with a Tata Altroz Track Racer concept with a pronounced widebody kit. Altroz is one of the most popular premium hatchbacks in the country. In fact, in recent times, the Indian auto giant launched the Racer Edition of the Altroz. It is supposed to be a slightly more aggressive and performance-focused iteration of the regular Altroz. The aim was to challenge to domination of the Hyundai i20 N Line. However, it has not done too well on the sales charts. Anyway, let us immerse ourselves in the glory of this virtual concept.
Tata Altroz Track Racer with Widebody Kit
Bimbledesigns needs to be credited for this innovative creation. The artist has drawn hardcore elements for this Altroz to lend it a mean demeanour. At the front, it gets a zig-zag-shaped LED DRLs integrated inside the headlamp cluster. The bonnet gets contours and is painted black. However, the main point of distinction is the colossal bumper section with a large splitter. As a matter of fact, there are aerodynamic diffusers to enhance the downforce at high speeds. It alters the front fascia of the Altroz completely.
Moving down the sides exposes us to the body kit. The first glance comes at the front fender which extends way out of the body of the hatchback. Similarly, the rear fender is massive. These incorporate the sporty alloy wheels with low-profile tyres and red brake callipers. Furthermore, the side body cladding is almost touching the ground. This is due to the low suspension for greater traction and grip around the corners. At the rear, you can’t miss the ducktail spoiler mounted on the roof. The tail section takes inspiration from the regular Altroz with a glass panel connecting the LED taillamps. Underneath the rear bumper, you will find a diffuser to complete the imposing stance. This has to be among the most extensively modified iterations of the Tata Altroz I have come across in recent times.
My View
I keep reporting about impressive virtual renditions of popular cars all the time. Oftentimes, designers go overboard with their creations. They devise so extreme components that it becomes clear that we won’t ever see these on roads. But I feel that is the charm of the digital world. It is not bound by physical limitations. Hence, the artists can let their imagination run wild. It also helps us expand our horizons and break the monotony of looking at a regular car every day. I shall keep bringing more such illustrations in times to come.
