In one such teaser video, the homegrown automaker elaborates on the various possibilities the Altroz’s platform i.e. the ALPHA architecture offers. The highly flexible nature of this platform will help the automaker introduce a wide array of body styles on the same. In addition to the Altroz, this underpinnings will be used for the next-gen iterations of the Tiago, Tigor and the Nexon. Upcoming products like the Hornbill (codename) Micro-SUV and the Creta rivalling Blackbird (codename), are also going to use this very platform.
The video shows that there could be an MPV based on the same platform as well. Something which might come across as a contendor from Tata Motors to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Mahindra Marazzo.
