After being unable to resolve an electrical issue with a Tata Altroz for a long while, the service centre could finally rectify the issue and even impress the owner with a sweet gesture
It’s not unusual to see the ownership experiences of well-sorted cars being totally ruined by the below-par after-sales service experience. In fact, we, at CarBlogIndia, have been quite regular with reporting such instances, where the owner of a car suffers big time in the hands of the incompetent after-sales service centre. But like everything else, not all car dealers are alike, and some of them do go the extra mile to impress the customer. Here’s a look at one such incidents related to a Tata Altroz.

This incident is about a Tata Altroz owner who was totally amused with the incompetence of the dealership with resolving a minor issue in his vehicle. His car’s LHS lights were out of order and even various visits to the service centre were of no help. This is pretty surprising because the issue was a pretty minor one and definitely not something that would be tough to crack by an expert technician. However, the owner of the Altroz continued to suffer over a few weeks until finally a vlogger made a video on this issue.

Now, though, in a fresh video the same vlogger reports that the owner’s issue has finally been rectified and the car is in perfect shape now. As per the commentary in the video, the owner of the Tata Altroz was requested by the service centre to get his car diagnosed once again within a day after the video on his plight was uploaded. Fortunately, the technicians could diagnose the cause and found it to be a loose connection. Not only was the issue quickly resolved but the service centre even topped up the fuel tank to make up for the inconvenience caused to the customer.

This gesture by the service centre goes on to show its commitment towards the customer. While it’s true that the issue that was being faced by the Tata Altroz owner should have been resolved in the first instance, there could be a valid reason behind the service centre’s inability to do so. Moreover, through topping up the fuel tank, the service centre has tried to make up for the inconvenience caused to the customer and this, alone, helps the outlet win brownie points.
