Here is an accident which involves Tata Altroz and Ford Ecosport, two of the well-known cars when it comes to safety.
Tata Altroz is currently the safest hatchback of India, securing 5-star safety rating in the NCAP crash tests. Very few accidents of the hatch have been reported till now, however, in all of them, it saved lives of passengers. Here is a recent accident with the Ford Ecosport, which is another car known to have strong build quality.
As you can see here, the Tata Altroz crashed into the Ford Ecosport from the back. The driver of the Altroz could not see clearly as it was night time and raining heavily. He was driving at a speed of 70-80 km/hr when the Ecosport applied sudden brake and Altroz driver could not apply brakes at time.

In the case of Altroz, the bonnet has crumpled up and lost its shape. The bumper, grille and under-body cladding have also been affected by the accident. Lastly, there are small dents on the side fender and front passenger side door. The owner was still able to start the car and take it to his home and then later, service centre.
In the case of Ford Ecosport, it just received a minor dent on the boot. In comparison, the impact is lesser but even Ford will send a huge bill to replace the entire boot system. Luckily, the owner of Altroz had Zero-Dep insurance and had to pay a very small amount for the entire repairing.
Ford Ecosport is one of the most affordable cars to be equipped with six airbags, on the top-end variants. While it also gets strong build quality, the SUV has not received any fresh safety ratings yet. Altroz comes with dual airbags as standard even on the top-end variants, and is even safer than Tata Nexon.
