Tata has silently increased the prices of all the variants of Altroz starting today. Here is the detailed variant wise price list.
Tata Altroz is the latest premium hatchback in the market and is seeing a growing demand every day. While Altroz is still behind the Nexon in terms of sales, both along with Tiago are the major contributors to the monthly sales of the manufacturer. Now, for the first time since the launch, the prices of Altroz have been hiked.
The prices of Altroz have been hiked by up to Rs 15000, depending on the variants. The minimum price hike is Rs 3,000 while the maximum is up to Rs 15,000. The website has not updated the prices, as they have come into effect from today itself (10th August). Here is the detailed price list:

The petrol variants are now priced from Rs 5.44 Lakhs going up to Rs 7.89 Lakhs. The diesel variants start at the same Rs 6.99 Lakhs but now go up to Rs 9.49 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom). The price range towards the top-end has increased by Rs 15,000 which now puts the top-end XZ Urban Diesel towards 11 Lakh on-road.
Buyers who have done their booking before 10th August will not be affected by this price hike. Most of the variants however have received a hike of Rs 15,000 itself. For example, in the case of XZ(O) petrol and diesel trims, the hike is just of Rs 6,000. Tata offers 22 variants of Altroz, including petrol and diesel engines.
Altroz gets a 1.2 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine that is good for 86 PS and 116 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed MT. The diesel engine is a 1.5 Litre turbocharged unit that produces 90 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed stick. There’s no automatic gearbox on offer currently, but Tata plans to launch one soon.
