Here is another instance that proves the safety rating of Altroz as it went through a high speed crash into a tree.
The owner said that his father was learning to drive on the Tata Altroz XE base variant. He was learning to drive alone, which is completely wrong. When the driver wanted to apply the brake, he instead stepped on the accelerator. As a result, the car sped ahead and the driver completely lost control over the car.

It jumped a very low height divider and rammed into a tree from the front. The impact is seen on the front and the bumpers have been damaged and bonnet has crumpled. Seems like some engine components might also be damaged in this accident. Luckily, the driver came out without any injuries and completely safe.
Even the side fenders have not been damaged by this accident. The repairing cost will definitely be huge but still it will be restored back to its original condition. Both the front airbags have been deployed successfully as the impact came out on the sensors itself. The base-spec as well as the top-end variant comes only with dual airbags.
