We hope that our audience remembers the iconic Taarzan The Wonder Car movie that was released back in 2004 featuring the flamboyant sportscar.
Taarzan The Wonder Car is finally being restored again after the previous attempt at the revival of the iconic car was left midway. For the millennials, the movie was quite a success with more people fascinated by the sportscar than the story of the movie. The car used to take revenge on people on its own and slowly dive back into the garage during the night. This idea was quite new back then making the movie a hit. However, there was news of the sports car that was designed by DC to be rotting on the streets of Mumbai after the movie finished.

Taarzan Wonder Car Being Restored
It was reported that after the movie, the movie makers attached a rather hefty price tag of Rs 2 Crore on the wonder car. It was based on the Toyota MR2 and had a 2.0-litre engine. But the Rs 2 Crore price tag was just too high for anyone wanting to own the car. As a result, it was left unsold and ended up rotting on the streets of Mumbai. Then the price was dropped drastically to Rs 35 lakh. However, there were no buyers for the car even then. The Internet had caught some images of the car being getting decayed in Mumbai as late as 2017.

Finally, this video on YouTube captures the Taarzan getting restored yet again. Also, this video series takes us through the journey of reviving the seemingly dead car. The car has been brought into the workshop where the painting process has begun. In addition to that, a person is seen applying putty on the body before the paint.

These techniques are necessary to check the quality of the metal left on the car and offer some rigidity to the structure. Furthermore, the visuals also show that the wires and engine components are being checked. After these components are repaired, it is possible to make them street-worthy. But we will have to wait and watch when that happens. At the moment, the paint process is underway and we might finally see the exterior of Taarzan The Wonder Car ready in some time.
