Sales report for May 2019 have come in and we see that Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has reported decent sales. The fully faired bike is priced at Rs 1.70 Lakhs.
Suzuki launched the Gixxer SF 250 in India last month. It is a fully faired quarter-litre motorcycle, priced at Rs 1.70 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The deliveries for the same have begun across all the dealerships.
For the month of May 2019, Suzuki has sold 1526 units of the SF 250. For a motorcycle priced upwards of Rs 1.5 Lakhs, the sales figures are decent. Meanwhile, its sales is higher than its price competitors.
In this price range, you find the KTM Duke 250, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Bajaj Dominar 400 and Honda CBR250R. Amongst all, Gixxer SF 250 has managed to report better sales.

The new motorcycle was expected to give Suzuki a much need sales boost, after the poor sales of Intruder and Gixxer, over the past few months. Its best selling product is Access 125, which is also the third best selling scooter of India.
With the entry of Gixxer, buyers can opt for a 250cc sportsbike that looks aggressive. The performance of the bike is well appreciated and feels like a well planted motorcycle. Check out our video review below.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 uses a new 249cc oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 26.1 BHP and 22 nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a light-weight 6-speed gearbox.
For suspension, it uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back. A 300mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back, with dual-channel ABS provide the braking power to the motorcycle.

Features onboard include LED headlamps, LED tail lights, a fully digital instrument console, gear-shift indicator, split seats, dual-ABS and Fuel Injection. The feature list is decent and so are the engine specifications.
Suzuki is going to launch the naked version of the SF 250 as well. The spy shots of Gixxer 250 were recently leaked, which gave us an idea of how the bike will look. It is scheduled to launch in Festive Season 2019.
