Suzuki Jimny Pickup
In this images we have here, a Suzuki Jimny is seen with no roof or a rear cabin. Instead, it features a regular cargo bed like any other pickup truck. Now, you might have seen the Jimny without the roof but it has seats at the rear. In the open-top version, the soft top can be completely taken off. That reduces the weight because of a lack of metal on the roof. However, this takes it even step further by having nothing at the rear. This will give it a significant advantage in off-road racing.

Also, the image shows Jimny with massive off-roading tyres with high profile. The treads are also designed to maximise traction even on dirt surfaces. This is a critical aspect of off-roading. Such tyres have thick sidewalls that ensure that the ride quality of the vehicle is maintained and the bumps and potholes don’t impact the riders too much. Usage of pickup trucks often involves non-tarmac pathways and it becomes important to not let the ride quality get compromised. Moreover, the driver should have enough tyre grip to tackle tricky situations. Also, it appears that the ride height of these SUVs has been raised a little for off-road operation.

Specs
As far as the specs are concerned, there are not many details about that. But we know that a stock Suzuki Jimny comes powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces around 103 hp and 138 Nm of peak power and torque. Even in the international markets, this engine powers the Jimny. There is a 5-speed manual transmission accompanying this engine. In fact, we are expecting the 5-door Jimny to hit our market carrying the same powertrain albeit the calibration could be changed a bit.
