Suzuki Motorcycles India recently launched the special editions of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF. The manufacturer also plans to launch a special edition of the Access 125 scooter. However, in a surprise of sorts, the bike maker has launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF Fuel Injection model. The new Suzuki Gixxer SF FI model’s price is Rs. 93,499 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The Suzuki Gixxer SF Fuel Injection costs Rs. 4,642 more than the regular Gixxer SF. Currently, the bike is available only in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Kochi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. The Gixxer SF Fuel Injection can be bought only in the Moto GP edition. This special edition gets body paint shade and body decals from Suzuki’s MotoGP race bikes.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF Fuel Injection model is sure to have a higher fuel mileage than regular models. The introduction of FI is sure to have made the bike more efficient. Our guess is that the Gixxer SF can deliver upto 55 KMPL under mixed riding conditions.

In spite of getting a FI system, the new model doesn’t get a bump in performance. Powering the new Suzuki Gixxer SF Fuel Injection is the same 154.9 cc single cylinder engine that powers the regular model. This engine outputs a max. power of 14.8 PS and a peak torque of 14 Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The FI model misses out on a kick starter.
