Some months back, patent pictures of the Suzuki GSX 300 surfaced online. Globally, the GSX series is quite famous. Currently, it has street bikes ranging from 1000cc to 125cc. In India, the GSX 125 was reworked, which gave us the Gixxer. There are many speculations saying that the GSX 300 might come to India as the Suzuki Gixxer 300. Also, Suzuki India has already confirmed that it is going to launch a new bike in the 250-500cc segment. Now, it has been spotted completely undisguised at a production plant in China. Currently, Suzuki Gixxer is one of the best sellers in our market. Recently, it got ABS fitment in its lineup. The 150cc naked bike gives decent mileage figures and also has enough features for a stiff competition. It competes with the likes of Apache RTR 160 4V, FZ-S, Pulsar NS 160 and Honda CB Hornet.
In China, Haojue and Suzuki are partners and we have the spy pictures of the Haojue 300. It will probably be named as HJ300-A. Haojue also helps Suzuki in manufacturing and exporting bikes. So it is speculated that the Haojue 300 will be rebadged as the Suzuki GSX 300.

Globally, there is no Gixxer in the lineup. The Gixxer brand is specially made for India. Earlier, Suzuki Motorcycle India said that it will launch a bike in the 250-500cc segment. So, we expect this could be the one launching in India in 2019.
From the spy shots, we get to know that the Suzuki Gixxer 300 (GSX 300) gets headlamps with LED DRLs, alloy wheels, USD front forks, and an engine belly pan. It is seen that the bike gets inverted front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear.
The Gixxer 300 will feature a 299cc parallel-twin cylinder engine. The power and torque figures are not out yet. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox and probably with a slipper clutch. Also, it is most likely to sport a dual-channel ABS system.
