Fresh reports indicate that Suzuki Gixxer 250 could be launch around June-July period. Once launched, it will compete against the likes of Yamaha FZ25.
Earlier, we reported that the engine patents of Suzuki Gixxer 250 had been leaked online. Unlike the twin-cylinder 250cc engine globally, here we will get a single-cylinder one.
Fresh reports suggest that the launch is scheduled to take this year. Many reports speculate that Suzuki Gixxer 250 might be launched by June this year. Although, there is no such confirmation from Suzuki as of now.
Based on the patented sketches, Gixxer 250 will get a single-cylinder fuel-injected 250cc engine. The power figures stand unknown, but it would deliver around 22-23 BHP and 20 Nm of peak torque.

This engine will be tuned for a strong mid-range torque generation, to keep the overall riding experience in place. Since it is for the Indian market, a fuel combustion system might come for maintaining fuel efficiency.
If it launches in India, it will squarely go up against Yamaha FZ25. It is the only naked 250cc motorcycle in this price range, besides KTM Duke 250. There are some rumours indicating that Bajaj is developing a new Pulsar 250.
FZ25 classifies as a regular usage bike with a powerful 250cc engine, which aids in long-distance commutes. Many customer reviews suggest that its mileage figures are decent for a 250cc motorcycle.
