The upcoming Burgman scooter has been spied for the first time after its showcase at the Auto Expo 2018. The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 spied photos were leaked after it was spotted at a TVC shoot. This indicates that it might launch in the coming months. The scooter is expected to cost around Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom).
Suzuki Burgman Street 125 was showcased at the Auto Expo. The scooter is quite large and the massive body shell compared commands attention with the large front apron and tall windscreen. Globally, the Suzuki scooter is available with higher power but in India, it will come as a 125 CC scooter. Recently, Suzuki Burgman Street 125 spied photos have been leaked, suggesting that the launch might take in the coming months. We expect the scooter to launch in India after July and before the festive season. As it will come as a premium scooter, the scooter will compete with Grazia, Ntorq 125 and Aprilia SR 125. The scooter is expected to cost around Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom).

It offers a unique maxi-styling, which was last seen in Kinetic. It gets large muscle lines with premium modern looks. The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 spied photos suggest that it looks identical to the one showcased in the Auto Expo. It was spotted in matte grey colour with disc brakes in the front and fenders on the rear wheel. An unusual styling is followed near the handle, as it is placed on the body but the LED digital console is placed on the cowl. It shares some of its bits and parts with Gixxer as it copies the same LCD Instrument panel from the bike.

The features of the scooter include a digital LCD cluster, LED headlamps, charging sockets, multi-functional key and a huge storage box. The scooter shares its underpinnings with Access 125. The Access 125 uses a 124.3 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which produces 8.7 bhp at 6500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. It gets an air-cooled cooling system. The exact details of the engine are not out yet, but it will have the same power as the Access. As the scooter is heavier than Access 125, it might get a heavy motor tuning for the same power outputs.

If Burgman Street comes into the expected price, it will face a challenge from Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125, Vespa S 125 and Aprilia SR 125. However, as the design stands out from all the scooters, it can also prove as a USP for Burgman Street.
