The latest reports suggest that Suzuki Burgman Street 125 bookings have begun. Various dealerships have started accepting booking amounts worth Rs 5000. The scooter was spotted recently during a TVC shoot recently, indicating that it might launch soon. Street 125 is expected to be priced around Rs 70,000.
The upcoming, Burgman Street 125 is one of a kind. It is the smallest member of the Burgman family and is expected to launch in India in July. The scooter was recently spotted testing during a TVC shoot. Recent news tells us that the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 bookings have begun for a token amount of Rs 5000. Various dealerships have started taking the bookings. This indicates that the scooter will launch soon, maybe by July. As it is a 125cc scooter, it is expected to be priced around Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom). The scooter will get features such as a fully Digital LCD Instrument Cluster, LED headlamp unit, a charging socket, front disc brakes and a multifunction key. It will further compete with Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq 125 and Aprilia SR125.

Suzuki Burgman Street 125 houses a large apron type body in the front and gets a bulky body. It looks sporty though. Also, it gets the unusual handlebar a bit behind on the body. In the front, it gets a small windshield. The scooter might get a plastic body to reduce weight. In the front, it gets dual LED headlamps and in the rear, LED tail lights. The exhaust muffler might look a tad big. For better comfort, it gets step-up seats and side rails. It gets disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear.

The scooter is powered by a 124.3 cc engine that produces 8.7 BHP worth of power and 10.2 Nm worth of torque. The power is average as compared amongst its competitors. It gets a CVT transmission. It weighs around 110 kgs, making it heavier than the Access 125. The scooter is expected to deliver a mileage figure of around 45 KMPL, with a larger fuel tank of around 5.6 Litres. Total riding range expected is around 250 Kms.

The 125cc scooter segment is developing, because of more features and more power it offers. TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Grazia, Suzuki Access 125, Aprilia SR 125 and Vespa SXL 125. Most of these scooters are priced around Rs 65000 to Rs 70,000, except Vespa. Vespa SXL 125 goes till Rs 95,000. Burgman Street 125 will be a good contender in this competition because of its bulky body and some good features offered on the scooter.
