Patent sketches of a Haojue scooter have been leaked, which might later turn into Suzuki Burgman 150. Haojue is Suzuki’s partner in the Chinese market.
Suzuki Burgman is a global maxi-scooter series, which last year made its debut in the India. The Burgman Street 125 is the smallest member of family, which has been heavily redesigned for the Indian market.
The India-spec Burgman is not a pure maxi-scooter. Sure, the front apron, handlebar positioning and unusually smaller rear portion are traits of a maxi-styled scooter. But, the footboard is not that big and the scooter is comparatively smaller.
Overall, the Burgman is also known as a touring scooter because of its comfortable seat, relaxed riding position and a dedicated foot resting place.

Meanwhile, patent sketches of what appears to be Suzuki Burgman 150 have surfaced online. Suzuki’s Chinese arm, Haojue, is developing a new scooter with the codename; HJ150T-28.
The leaked images show that it adapts a European maxi-scooter styling, just like the other Burgmans. Its front portion looks very similar to Honda PCX 150, which is again, a maxi-styled scooter in the European markets.
The Haojue scooter gets LED headlamps on the apron, a windscreen, foot rests on the apron, maxi-styled floorboard, tall handlebars and a closed storage option on the apron.

The engine specifications stand unknown yet. Most likely, it will get a 150cc air-cooled engine that delivers 9.5 BHP and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. The Suzuki Burgman 150, in India, might use the Gixxer-derived 155cc engine.
Gixxer’s engine is capable of producing 14.8 BHP and 14 Nm of peak torque. To maintain good fuel efficiency, the power and torque figures might be lowered a bit.
For suspension purposes, it uses telescopic forks at the front and dual-shock absorbers at the back. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the ends paired with a single-ABS unit.
