The rendering has been designed by fallen_3377 and posted on his Instagram handle. The bronze coloured Altroz sees an addition of a boot at the rear end lending it the coupe SUV attributes. The front fascia features a slight modification with chrome studded inserts on the grille, a sharper LED headlight unit with sleek LED DRLs, a sharp bonnet line finished in gloss black material, a redesigned massive bumper with a broad opening for air intake, skid plate to make it look sporty, stylish all wheels painted in black with brake callipers painted in contrasting red, black roof to reflect the dual-tone appearance and a sloping roof to complete the coupe body shape. One could almost see something like this happening officially.

The regular Tata Altroz comes with a plethora of engine-gearbox combinations to choose from. This includes a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 86 PS and 113 Nm, a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine making 110 PS and 140 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine making 90 PS and 200 Nm of peak power and peak torque respectively. There are options of a 5-speed manual gearbox or a newly launched DCT automatic depending on the variant. The prices of the Tata Altroz range from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The direct rivals include the likes of all-new Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and VW Polo.
