It’s not unusual for our celebrities to buy an exotic set of wheels every once in a while. With time, most of them have earned more fame and success, which means their new cars have got costlier than ever. While most of them used to splurge in the tune of a couple of crores, things have reached a stratospheric level now. The case in point today is the South Indian superstar Ajith Kumar, who has just got his hands on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The on-road price of this supercar is around Rs 9 crore!
Handful of High-End Cars and Motorcycles in Ajith Kumar’s Collection
Ajith is a pretty serious motorhead, with interests in both cars and motorcycles. The four-wheelers in his collection include a Honda Accord V6, BMW 740 Li and Ferrari 458 Italia. Meanwhile, his motorcycle collection features a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Aprilia Caponord 1200, BMW K 1300 S and BMW S 1000 RR. Pictures of the South Indian actor posing with his Ferrari SF90 Stradale have gone viral on many social media platforms. From the looks of it, he has purchased this car in Dubai. Interestingly, this supercar is on sale in India but Ajith seems to have bought it in Dubai instead.

Ferrari SF90 Stredale
The SF90 is definitely among the most exotic supercars you can buy at the moment. The flagship model in the Italian carmaker’s lineup is even the most potent vehicle to wear the Prancing Horse. It employs a plug-in hybrid powertrain that uses a twin-turbo, 4.0-litre V8 petrol mill that is shared with the Portofino and F8 Tributo. The engine works in tandem with three electric motors.

The V8 engine pumps out a maximum power of 1000 PS and a peak torque of 780 PS. The electric motors pump out 220 PS. The powertrain outputs a maximum power of 1,000 PS and a peak torque 800 Nm. The motor comes mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Interestingly, the SF90 doesn’t have a reverse gear. The electric motors are used to move the car in reserve. The front electric motor disengages with the transmission at speeds of 209 km/h. The powertrains all four wheels, while the supercar comes with four driving modes that are selected through the eManettino knob. These include eDrive mode, Hybrid mode, Performance mode, and Qualify mode.
