XUV700 has created quite a buzz in the Indian car market after its launch last year. The waiting periods are still long owing to the massive and unprecedented demand for a vehicle in this segment. South African Media Reviews Mahindra XUV700

As is the tradition, the media personnel are driving the top-spec AX7L trim that comes with a turbo petrol engine and 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission. For the South African market, the Mahindra XUV700 comes powered by a sole 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine that develops a colossal 149 kW (200 PS) and 380 Nm of peak power and torque.
