Indian roads are full of all sorts of bizarre occurrences and this latest example showcases that clearly
In a rather astonishing turn of events, a few smugglers were caught transporting an unbelievable 800 liquor bottles under the roof of a Mahindra Bolero. It is shocking to see how creative people become to engage in illegal activities. Bolero is one of the highest-selling products from the Indian automobile giant. This has been the case for many years now. As a result, people use it for all sorts of utilitarian purposes particularly in semi-urban and rural regions of the country. For now, let us stick to the details of this new instance.
Smugglers Transport 800 Liquor Bottles in Mahindra Bolero
This news piece comes to the surface courtesy of ndtvindia on Instagram. The description of the post informs that this incident belongs to Bihar. Some people thought it would be a great idea to securely transport 800 tetra packs filled with liquor under the roof of the Mahindra Bolero. In fact, the visuals capture a man, after having ripped open the roof, counting and throwing out the liquor packages. This is, unfortunately, a common way for the liquor mafia of Bihar to smuggle huge quantities of liquor to make some quick gains.
The aim is, of course, to keep these away from the eyes of the Police authorities. However, someone must’ve tipped the cops about this questionable activity. As a result, the Police sprung into action and busted the whole racket. Nevertheless, it is fascinating to see the imagination of these smugglers and how they attempt to fool the authorities. We can only hope that such cases come to light more often so that appropriate action can be taken against the culprits.
My View
India is home to some unfathomable situations and this one certainly proves that point. Bolero is the hero of rural India where people use it for all sorts of activities including luggage carriers, off-roading vehicles and people carriers. Its rugged nature and impressive performance are some of the highlights that invoke a healthy demand. I shall keep bringing similar cases for our readers in times to come.
