The Skoda Superb Corporate edition is based on the style variants and is only available for existing Skoda customers who are looking for an upgrade.
Skoda India has today announced the launch of an all-new entry-level variant for the Superb sedan in India. Called as the Superb Corporate Edition, it will have all the kit available on the Style variant and is going to cost INR 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The interesting thing to note here is that Skoda has introduced this ‘Corporate Edition’ of the Superb sedan exclusively for existing Skoda customers. This means that it is aimed at those buyers who are looking to upgrade their Octavia or the Rapid.

The Skoda Superb Corporate Edition is powered by a 1.8-litre TSi petrol engine. This unit is capable of producing 178 BHp of power along with 320 Nm of peak torque. This engine promises a fuel-efficiency figure of 14.64 km/l. It is currently available with a 6-speed manual transmission. Skoda says that there has been a considerable demand for an automatic gearbox in this segment. And that it is evaluating its prospects and might launch the same by the end of this year itself.

In terms of creature comfort and features, the Skoda Superb Corporate Edition comes with features such as a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, bi-Xenon projector headlamps, LED Tail-lamps, leather upholstery, touchscreen infotainment system, 8-airbags, automatic climate control, hill assist, traction control, electronic stability control among other equipment.
The Skoda Superb currently competes with the likes of Toyota Camry and the Volkswagen Passat.
