Skoda Slavia will become the second car to be underpinned by the MQB-A0-IN platform which it will share with the Kushaq along with the two turbocharged petrol engine options. Main rivals will include Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna
So far, the Skoda Kushaq has spearheaded Skoda Auto Volkswagen India’s 2.0 strategy to achieve a stronger footing on the local turf. Come March and the Kushaq will be joined by another model that will take on popular sedans like the Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Hyundai Verna. The sedan has already been showcased at a media event and has even been spotted on a flatbed. But it’s the first time that we’ve seen a video of the car on a public road. Actually, a convoy of Skoda Slavia, as the new sedan will be called, was recently seen on a congested street of Pune and it sure has some street presence to feel more special than the competition.
