Skoda Slavia Quality Issues
The owner of the Slavia shows the squeaking noises near the AC console, on the panel next to the steering wheel, the fitting of the textured insert on the dashboard is shaky too, the owner also scratches the hard plastic areas on the dashboard. Particularly shocking is the condition of the AC vents which look like they are almost broken. Also, the switch on the roof for reading lamps is loose making a sound as soon as the driver touches them. The area behind one of the AC vents looks like it has been barely holding together. The roofliner connecting to the A-pillars seems to be getting torn which makes the cabin look a bit shabby.

All in all, these multiple issues on a car in the premium mid-size sedan segment, as Skoda calls it, are quite disappointing. The prices of the Slavia range from Rs 10.69 lakh to Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom but the quality of the fit and finish inside the cabin of the Slavia is quite poor. The owner has posted this video on Facebook and tagged Zac Hollis to apprise him of this situation. He asks Zac to look into this and make sure that the engineering team focuses on the quality control aspect of its cars. Needless to say, he is demanding a permanent solution and not a simple fix like fixing the cabin using double tape, etc.
