Skoda Auto India Private Limited has many popular cars in the Indian market. Now, it is taking an entirely new approach to sales. The Czech car manufacturer launched the Skoda Kushaq and Skoda Slavia under the Volkswagen Group’s new India 2.0 plan. Both models come with many power-packed features. Now, you can purchase the mid-size SUV and a mid-size sedan from Flipkart along with even buying other cars in the Czech carmaker’s portfolio. Let’s take a look at the details of the new partnership between Skoda Auto India and Flipkart.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq on Flipkart
With the new sales approach, Skoda Auto India and Flipkart aim to offer a unique car buying experience to customers. Flipkart is currently one of the leading platforms in the country and the new partnership is industry-first. An official microsite to book Skoda cars is already live on Flipkart India’s official website. You can check it out by clicking here. While Flipkart will allow customers to book the Skoda cars, the delivery process will be done at their preferred dealership. Both the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia share the same platform, same engines, and a host of features as well.
The Skoda Kushaq is powered by a 1-liter three-cylinder (115PS/178Nm) with a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter. A 1.5-litre four-cylinder mill turbo-petrol engine (150PS/250Nm) comes with a 6-speed manual/ 7-speed DSG. Special features on the car include electronic stability control, up to six airbags, a rearview parking camera, wireless charging, a sunroof, connected car tech, ventilated front seats, hill hold control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. It also sports a 10-inch touchscreen system and a 6-speaker sound system with a subwoofer. The 5-seater car is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

On the other hand, the Skoda Slavia is priced between Rs 10.69 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. It is powered by a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 175 Nm. The larger 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine offers a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. For transmission, you can choose from a 6-speed manual, Torque Converter, or 7-speed DCT gearboxes. Additional features include a sunroof, wireless phone charging, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and tire pressure monitoring, and rear parking sensors.
