According to the latest sales reports, the Skoda Slavia sold 2,431 units in April this year. This number is more than the combined sales number of Hyundai Verna and Maruti Ciaz, which sold 781 and 579 units, respectively. In the second place is the Honda City with 2,300 units. Additionally, the VW Ventoi retained the fifth position on the April 2022 sakes chart for executive sedans. However, it managed to sell only 57 units. In conclusion, the only real competition in this segment is between Skoda Slavia and Honda City.

The Skoda Slavia is powered by a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 175 Nm. The larger 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine offers a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. There’s a 6-speed torque-converter automatic and a 7-speed DSG option for 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre engine variants, respectively. Additional features include a sunroof, wireless phone charging, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, auto climate control, up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, tire pressure monitoring, and rear parking sensors.
