Skoda Slavia Base Model – Exteriors
The exteriors look quite premium even in this base trim with LED DRLs, chrome surround on the signature butterfly grille, part-LED taillamps, rear defogger, etc. The things that give it away that it is the base variant are the 15-inch steel wheels with a decent wheel cover, lack of fog lamps at the front, no shark fin antenna, absence of chrome treatment at various places like door handles and rear bumper, regular halogen headlamps instead of the LED units and no full-LED taillamp cluster. Nevertheless, the base model still looks premium.
Interiors and Features
On the inside, the differences are quite evident. While the overall layout of the cabin remains the same, there are a few things missing along with a low quality of materials used at various places. This includes a dashboard, plastic door handles, a smaller 7-inch touchscreen for infotainment with a laggy interface, absence of a digital cockpit instrument cluster, no chrome treatment on the AC vents, no leather-wrapped steering wheel, missing centre console armrest, manual AC, no rear AC vents or charging ports, rear centre armrest, but it gets the 60:40 split, 521-litre boot, connectivity features, height-adjustable driver’s seat, 4-speaker audio system among other amenities.
