At the 2012 Auto Expo, Skoda showcased a number of products all of which exist in the Indian market but apart from these there were two cars which grabbed most of the eyeballs. We are talking about the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo and Skoda RS 2000 Concept car.
Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo
The Fabia Monte Carlo is a special edition Fabia with extra features and accessories that one would always desire for. The car has a 1197 CC turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 105 BHP @ 5000 RPM of max power and 175 Nm @ 4100 RPM of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.

The engine though small helps the car attain a top speed of 191 km/h and gives a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 10.1 seconds. Other features of the car include ABS, EBC(engine braking control), Dual rate brake assist, halogen projector black headlights with fog lamps, automatic climate control, steering mounted audio controls, 17” alloy wheels etc..

Skoda RS 2000 Concept Hatchback
The Skoda RS 2000 is a concept hatchback from the major and was first showcased at Wörthersee Tour in Austria. The car is a prototype model and is a convertible concept based on Fabia Super 2000 Rally Car. Although no official technical data is available, it has been presumed that the car equips a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine that is coupled to a six speed sequential transmission and a four wheel drive system.
